Campaign latest and a bit of a nap!

As you can see, Austin and Tigger are taking some time out from the exhausting election campaign. Well, Tigger has not really been helping, but he’s been napping extremely hard in the background and that of course complies completely with policies 1, 2 and 3 on Austin’s election manifesto.

If you want to know why Austin is resting up, it is because he and his energetic campaign manager, Nellie - The Cat (who is not really) from Hell, went to visit his shelter yesterday, Freshfields Animal Rescue. If you haven’t already see the excellent write up, then click here to go to Nellie’s headquarters to read about what occurred. It’s a must read!

Our next post will include an interview with Lesley Tarleton, where she discusses current challenges and opportunities for Freshfields. Well, not so much an interview, more of a chat really!

  2. Austin - it truly is impressive just how well you can run a campaign while so aggressively napping!! And Kudos to Tigger too!! Great job!!

Nellie did such a great job with the Freshfields post and it is wonderful that we can be part of something where we are helping so many animals.

  4. I don't know about this trusting a tux business, Austin. Because a tux is trying to usurp my throne! Errr.....technically not mine but Angelina's throne...but I'm occupying it now. If you can help me put this little tux in his place, I'll vote for you. Deal? har har har *evil laughs*

  12. Can't wait after all it's all about the shelters, isn't it. Since Austin has his tux on, he should come to our pawty. I think that Brian's, who's done the least amount of electioneering is gonna win after we work our bums off.

  25. It's always about the napping. Think about how much work you can get done AFTER you've taken a refreshing nap?

(this is entirely Sammie's philosophy, by the way).

  26. Austin it is good to demonstrate the greatness of the napping plank in the campaign. Good that the campaign is going well

  27. P.S. You know, if Katie wins, I might be able to have her set you up with your furry own Brass Ones. Just sayin'.

  28. My cats think they are king and queens so they don't need no election campagne !

  29. Hey wait, is Tigger staying for real now? I seem to notice him more often than not. And Pink Boy... err, Austin probably doesn't show it but I'm sure he enjoys the company.

About the campaign, to show my support, I will visit Nellie's blog and read about it. I saw the picture of "Mom and Dad" in their post.
