Fibrop ticks?

Hi! It's Austin here!

The Staff has been slightly more barmy strange peculiar weird chipper than usual! Not in a good way like this:

You can see the clip on YouTube here

No! She's been kind of jumping up and down a lot! Just by way of an aside, I have noted this is not good for the infrastructure, either hers or the house, you know what I'm saying? I wouldn't try and visualise it! Much too distressing!  She really needs to see someone about getting more bracing in her buttress if you get my drift!

Anyways, she's been going on and on about the fact that we are getting something called "fibrop ticks"!?? Now the only ticks I know are these:

The sticky kind! Yuk! However, I've never heard of the fibrop variety before!

Apparently these are virtual ones that roam the information superhighway and are from the species called elas-ticks! And it seems that in this part of Welsh Wales we are being upgraded from a Broad Elas-tick Band to a bigger and more efficient elas-tick band so it's quicker on the interwebs. This is called a Broad Fibrop-tick Band. It means that when The Staff clicks "send" on her keyboard to publish a blogpost, she won't have to sit for ages filing her nails or read War and Peace while she waits for Godot to arrive. It's so fast, it will reach where it's going before it's even left … allegedly!

So come June 13th she will have most likely wrecked the house, but at least she'll be able to scoot round cyberspace like a cat on nip. .. . . . Well we can but hope as the combination of BT incompetency and The Staff's defective brain cell might still scupper my plans for world domination!

>^,,^<

  2. OMC! I had no idea what you were prattling on about until the end. Give me credit for sticking around. I thought there was some new internet bugs or something. Our old building says its too much money to switch us from cable to Fibrop ticks. That may be lucky cos my peeps would go through the floor if they jumped around.

  4. HOLY CAT? Where can we get some of these ticks? MOL! You actually has mommy going there for a paragraph or two! (which we absolutely love, cuz that feeling of superiority it gives us is priceless. Well almost priceless. We'd still choose noms and wand toys over it, but well, yanno....)

  5. There is nothing like a good roll on the grass in the sun.
Thank you for explaining about those Fibrop ticks. My mum has been going on about them too. I thought that was why she has just given me the greasy neck. I hope she doesn't start jumping up and down too. I don't think the floor would take it.

  6. Austin, was the Mom running around like you?? That would be really scary. Don't let her put that buttress on top of you Austin. We want to know more about this 'tick' deal. In English please.
    Take care.

  17. Austin we hope the upgrade goes smoothly but don't get rid of the nail files and War & Peace just yet. If it is BT you know it ain't going to go smoothly. We upgraded to infinity and it went wrong from day one. Eventually they had to rewire the whole house. Our paws are crossed for you pal. Have a terrific Thursday.
    Best wishes Molly

  19. Bravo for your upgrade Austin! We don't have those ticks in our neighborhood YET (too far out of civilization apparently) but some day probably we'll crawl out of the dark ages. I thought "Buttress" was when my Mom spends too danged much time on the couch! Hmm....I learn something every day from you buddy!
