Des Res

Austin is in a bit of a two an’ eight!  We’ve been having our walls dismantled - not the house walls, you understand, but the ones outside. Normally he can jump out the window onto the wall and then off to fulfil his daily murder and pillage schedule.

So Austin has been a bit discomforted, not the least because there have been strangers in HIS garden! The good thing was they spoke Welsh, so at least he could understand. He's learnt a few new useful words! Anyway, the builders - Messrs Bodgit and Scarper worked quite well up until the jubilee weekend and then they had four days off! Well, that was last weekend. They were supposed to’ve returned last Wednesday to finish off, but they didn’t and since then it has rained non stop. BUT the good thing is Austin has a new des res with en suite right outside my bedroom window.

So now he can jump off the bed into his new giant industrial sized litter tray without having to negotiate the hallway, stairs and several doors - especially as there is currently no wall to jump onto once he gets up there. So his convenience has become more convenient!
YEAH!
OK Austin, it wasn’t THAT funny!

On another matter, do you recognise this line up?
I just love this picture. Austin is No. 6. I feel no. 8 is in drag!?
Check out Glogirly’s post. It explains all!

  7. Oh! Wow!
Austin and Kozmo is even MORE alike! Wes got a whole truck load of dirt for our garden and to build some raised beds in the front and back and Kozmo thinks that pile is just the bestest litter box in the whole wide world! And it has been raining here non-stop so he has been tracking muds all over the house too!
    Mommy is not amused!

  10. It is quite a lovely pile of dirt, but I would imagine the human is hoping the builders will be back soon!

Regarding the last picture. I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that while I was gone for a few days, out of town, thinking all was well... that my sweet Zoey was part of a criminal line-up (potential convict #2).

  13. Wow, a giant litter box for Austin! The prince has become a wee bit snooty. And new mice neighbors.

By the way, what is it with this new project? Do you have plans of renovating and making Austin a castle of his own?

Oh no. 8? I immediately recognized him. He's the pawn of 1-7. So whoever is guilty between 1-7, number 8 will still be getting the jail time.

  15. Austin, it's no fun having intruders in your garden but the end result will be worth it. And yes, #6 look a tad suspicious. The tongue is the dead giveaway. #8 is a red herring.

  16. Your own ensuite? How lucky! Plus new mices to kill. Nellie is right - when I first glanced at the line up picture, I thought number 6 WAS Kozmo!

  17. You do realize you've confessed in this post to at least several counts of murder and pillage, right? That confession could be used against you in a court of law -- good thing Glogirly got that other matter straightened out. But take our mousepiece's advice (American slang for "lawyer") -- have this post expunged. You can't be too careful.

  18. Oh Austin, too funny. So what were the new words that you learned from those Swiss workers. Love this post.
We will check out Glogirly's post. We had a sad afternoon here. We had to send Grayson to the bridge. He had a bad lump on his leg. We are doing a post for tomorrow about it all. Take care.

  24. My goodness, Austin, you have hit the Jackpot with your roomy new spa bathroom! All you need is a Jacuzzi and some vanities and you are in business. (no pun intended)

  25. Well, Austin deserves something special for having to tolerate not only strangers - but re-arrangers. such a trial. You should push for more mousies to deal with all the stress.
And that's a motley bunch Austin!

  27. MOL at the giant little pile. Now that's what you call a supersized catbox. That lineup is hilarious. Number 8 is surely there as the red herring.

  28. And by "giant little pile" I clearly meant giant litter pile!! Ack. Need to proof before hitting submit, MOL.
