Austin and Tigger - A study in indifference!

=^..^=

Today we have the sads as our good buddy Nerissa has lost his battle with illness and left us for the Bridge. He was just 12 years old. His passing leaves a big hole and we are not indifferent at all. In fact he made a huge difference to our lives and to the lives of many other kitties. His story is one of the twelve featured in Rescued - The stories of twelve cats, through their eyes, which we featured on this blog a few weeks ago. If you haven't read the book please consider buying a copy - check out on Amazon. You will love the stories and every copy sold helps kitties in shelters nominated by the authors.  Nissy would be so proud! MOUSES!

  1. We are sad to hear about Nerissa too today and 12 years isn't an old age - we knew he was ill but didn't expect him to pass so soon. We always enjoyed his blogs and the pictures that accompanied them.

  10. It's been sad here this past week - because he was one of the Rescued authors, my human was one of the first people to find out Nerissa was gone. :-(

  19. Indifference is definitely better than CAT FIGHT! As for our dear friend Nissy leaving us for the Bridge - some are just taken too soon - others escape on their OWN terms - we will miss Nissy but are happy his brother Seville will carry on the tradition of story-telling and all the good things Nissy did for the world and for all of us..........................MOUSES!

    Hugs, Sammy

  23. That indifference study is a good example for a lot of not-so-indifference-cats, Austin. I have to keep that in mind next time the neigbourcat wants to pass me by :D
The loss of Nissy is very heartfelt. Granny has still leaky eyes. Pawkisses :) <3
