All by my selfie!
This long distance selfie was quite tricky to do, but I risked outsourcing once again, this time to a passing red squirrel. Yes, I did! I said to him, I said "Yo! Mr Passing Red Squirrel, could you stop passing for a moment and just press that there button?" And Mr P.R. Squirrel said 'OK'! And he did! It's a pity my attention was diverted by a passing yellow wagtail at the crucial moment!!

Yo, great title, fun post and congratulations on recruiting Mr. P.R. Squirrel! And may we say we love seeing your black beauty against the different autumn colors!
ReplyDeleteThat was very innovative to enlist Mr P.R. Squirrel to help with your selfie. We only have Mr. Sneaky Grey Squirrel here, and I don't think he would help me out as I like to chase him.
ReplyDeleteWell done Austin, getting that Mr.P.R. Squirrel to push that button on the camera for you. That sure is a great selfie.
ReplyDeleteWe're surprised that squirrel helped you, Austin. They usually aren't that agreeable. At least the ones here aren't. That's a good selfie! :)
ReplyDeleteYou do look good on green Austin!
ReplyDeleteWow, you didn't eat Mr. Squirrel after ward? That is very nice of you lol
ReplyDeleteYou mean the Ebil Squirrel is actually good for something besides being cheeky?! Who knew? Anyways, that is a beautiful picture of you.
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty in your garden! Austin, you're so smart to outsource when needed. The passing red squirrel did a surprisingly good job! You look happy and handsome sitting there.

Austin...you got a red squirrel to take your picture. You must be a smooth talking devil. I tried the same thing with our red squirrel and he gave me the raspberry and laughed all the way to his house, How rude!! I was even being real mice.

ReplyDeleteWow, you allowed a squirrel to take your picture?
ReplyDeleteAustin you look "splendiferous" in your yard keeping your eyes peeled for that red squirrel to quit snapping a photo and make a run for it! Tee Hee
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
What an obliging squirrel to do that for you, Austin. Ours are too busy eating up all the bird seed. We've never seen a red squirrel and Mom says she hasn't either. We just have the plain old grey ones. Your yard looks so lush and pretty. Fall has hit hard here, and we aren't too happy about it. Thanks for hopping along with us today. ReplyDeleteIt is a good photo nonetheless Austin!
ReplyDeleteYou’re just lucky Mr. passing by red squirrel didn’t run off with your camera/phone. They’re famous for their thievry you know.
ReplyDeleteWow, Austin, you're such a gentleman to pose for Mr. P.R. Squirrel. Rita would have tried to eat him. Which is not very nice to visitors, even if they are just passing through. You look very handsome!
ReplyDeleteGeez, Austin, so there I am innocently visiting my Tennessee Queen, when what do I read? Some nonsense about you sneaking over there behind my back. Honestly, do you think just because I'm over here in the Colonies I can't READ or something? Speaking of colonies--you *do* remember how that turned out, right?
ReplyDeleteThe Squirrels around your part of the world sure most be wellbehaved !!
ReplyDeleteNice long distance selfie! Happy National Cat Day Austin!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky Mr Squirrel didn't run off with the camera. They're sneaky, those squirrels. He took a great picture, though.
ReplyDeleteYou are never all by your selfie with all the great friends you have! Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey kitties
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever getting that squirrel to click the button, great selfie, buddy!
