Austinius Interruptus!

It's The Staff here.

The following video explains why some of us (especially bipeds with opposable thumbs) find it so difficult to get anything done on the interwebs.  The video shows Austin (a quadruped with no thumbs) who has just returned from his evening constitutional. He has already done a pretty good impression of two thousand rampaging buffalo through several rooms, over a landing, down some stairs and across a hallway into my study. Now he is demanding to be brushed... IMMEDIATELY!

You will possibly need to turn the volume up high in order to experience the full cinematic effects!

Much better to view it on YouTube here!

  1. Too right you should be brushed immediately. What is wrong with these people?

  2. We laughed at your human's surprise that you insist on immediate brushing - why not it is our right and if our memory serves us well it is well up on the list of rights.

  4. Good job Austin, keeping that Mom in line and getting her to brush you on command. Well done. Keep it up. Take care.

  5. Austin, I think it's safe to say that nothing will get done until you get the brushing you demand. woo woo!

  9. Heheheh. We do the same thing, Austin. Hey, if it works, it works!

Right now, I'm sitting on the mom's lap insisting that she give me scrithes while she types. Hey, I can't help it if she only has 2 hands.

  11. I should think that the "stop everything and pay attention to ME RIGHT NOW" thing would be "old hat" to our humans - I mean some of us have been demanding that attention for YEARS and YEARS yet they seem surprised when we politely (or not) request the brush or a treat or WHATEVER! Good grief.....

  13. Sometimes you just have to take charge to get their attention. Besides, what harm is a little fur on the keyboard?

  24. Way to go, Austin! Maybe you should get an assistant to pick up the slack from your staff. Totally unacceptable to not have IMMEDIATE attention when you demand it. Dang humans, I tell ya!

    High (paw) 5 for you!

  27. Maybe you forgot to bring her the brush Austin. Humans are lazy that way. She just wanted to blame you for not letting you visit your furrends.

  35. MOL! I hope Lou Nattick got the message eventually and stopped cackling long enough to brush you.

  36. I don't see the problem, what else are you supposed to do when you want to be brushed? Your staff gives you a hard time about everything, Austin. You poor thing. :D

  41. Austin, I HAD to come by and see this video yet again (and again)...

    ReplyDelete
  42. You just had to make me laugh. That must one hell of a dramatic itch.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Austin, way to go buddy! That's how we go about getting attention…just butt right in and demand. Our mom never laughs, however. More like HBO words from her, especially when we delete something as Lily did earlier tonight. We don't know why she doesn't think that is funny.
