Missing 'tocks found?

Do you remember Austin's missing 'tock dilemma the other day?

Well!!!! It seems there has been a sighting in the crocosmia!

We are hoping that Austin will be able to make a positive ID this afternoon and his little split personality will be reunited once more!

PS It appears that my rant about light bulbs has tapped a rich seam among readers. So Austin and I are in discussions about introducing a regular rant feature on the blog.  He seems to think it's better for me than prozac!

  1. Austin, I must say you are looking pawsitivly delectable there in that pose. Ahem.

Now as to your Mom's thought..please carry on. DO rant. And do so as often and about whatever you please! But Edison flickering in his grave will be THE thought you have written that will stay with me until I am in my own grave! Oh I meowed!!!! Mom too. (and it is hilarious hearing her meow..so paltry sounding.)

  6. ha ha - that's a great pair off tocks too. So glad you found a pair. Yes, I'd enjoy a change to rant now and then. I know there are lots of subjects out there too.

  7. Those are some fine 'tocks there. Austin, if you don't claim them, we will. :)

  8. Now that the mystery of the missing tocks has been solved, next we shall take on the mystery of the missing incandescent bulbs. The peeps went to a box store today and couldn't find any.

BTW, while I'm not British, Gramps spent many years stationed in England so I guess he picked up some terms and passed them on.

  9. Cutest tush Annie has seen in a long time, if ever.

As far as ranting, just think, sadly, you'll probably never run out of subjects.

  11. I don't know what prozac is, but my human usually goes on a rant when she's upset by something. The male human and I claim to listen and it usually helps, I think.

I think Austin might have found what he thought to have lost!

  12. We didn't understand what "Prozac" is, so we asked Mummy to look it up on Google. She told us it's a medicine Humans take when they're depressed. WE think that's really, really SILLY! Why don't they just go and chase some birds, or mousies instead???

  16. Good luck with the tock hunt Austin and I DO think it's a grand idea to have a "rant-a-thon" from time to time. If we don't let our humans release those frustrations once in a while, I think their heads explode (and we don't want that now do we?!?!).

  17. I do love a good rant myself and find when I indulge with those types of thoughts on my blog, that it is very popular! I call those my "Andy Rooney" posts and if I recall correctly, you had not heard of Andy Rooney until I mentioned him! Looking forward to this segment and good luck with Austin!

  20. Blogging and ranting go hand in hand. Looking at some of my own posts, I bet I saved myself £25,000 of therapy, haha!

  21. How about a rant a week. Mom would be all over that. And maybe you could even ask your readers to make suggestions for the weeky rant. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette. IF YOU TRIED TO COMMENT ON OUR POST "PAYBACK FOILDED" AND COULDN'T DUE TO THE CAPTCHA CODE, MOM HAS REMOVED THE CAPTCHA REQUIREMENT! SHE'S ALSO NOW REMOVED THE CHECK BOX 'CAUSE IT NEVER APPEARED BUT YOU STILL COULDN'T COMMENT.

  22. Don't even mention light bulbs around Jan. She wants the old fashioned recognizable, don't have to evacuate the furries if one breaks light bulbs.

  23. Oh Thank COD, Austin that you found your tocks and we are pretty sure those are yours. We sure don't want you separated from them for long.
We think rants are good. We might even have to get into this ranting idea.
    Take care.

  25. Hrm, and here we thought ecstatic was kinda following the ectoplasm rules, meaning of course the static we receive from our mum when we tell her we want to go OUTSIDE! Bwaaa-ha-haaa!

  28. Ranting is good for the human soul! Me thinks me might let my human rant (once in a while) as she has been furry stressed.
Austin, if it worked for yours, maybe it will work for mine!
