The Austin Syndrome!

Tigger suffers from the rather distressing condition called Austin Syndrome! It is characterised by feelings of impending doom and the fear of the imminent paw thwack and neck bitey.

Scene: The summerhouse on a cool and showery October day.

"Is he coming?"

“Ok, I shall take a nap!"

“He could still be coming!"

“Room for a small one?"

Tigger takes solace and succour where he can!

succour, suck-er (noun) - any cat-loving human with a lap, who is just about to go shopping, do chores, or cook a cordon bleu meal for twenty

  2. oh poor Tigger, you can sense the expectation from his errrr back view body language, head on one side peering thru the gap as he waits for his best friend Austin to turn up! but does he, seems not!! so after a little sleep to ease the disappointment, he finally finds succour or maybe even a suck-er with a comfy lap to compensate....I'm just wondering tho - however likely is it that there's someone within spitting or even scratching distance of Tigger or Austin, who could rustle up a cordon bleu meal for twenty people??

Oh, Tigger. Granny suffers from RCcaphobia...very similar condition. Olde Granny develped a strategy during her summer visit in the Sunny Room. When RC bounced in all fluffy and hissing, Granny closed her eyes and sighed, "It would be perfect except for that annoying Ghost that appears. No matter how much RC shoved and growled, Granny ignored her ( she is ancient after all)...finaly RC slunk off to whack the German...just to prove to herself she wasn't a ghost. Quite unsettled by it all
