This long distance selfie was quite tricky to do, but I risked outsourcing once again, this time to a passing red squirrel. Yes, I did! I said to him, I said "Yo! Mr Passing Red Squirrel, could you stop passing for a moment and just press that there button?" And Mr P.R. Squirrel said 'OK'!  And he did! It's a pity my attention was diverted by a passing yellow wagtail at the crucial moment!!

All right, all right! Can I hear some disgruntled muttering?!  If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook you might have already seen this, but as The Staff has been a bit under the weather slacking all week, we are unashamedly doing a re-hash job!

Please excuse lack of blog posts and visiting over the last week, but The Staff staged one of her "go slows" (more like "won't go") and so I've been instructing the NUCAT thugs team to duff her up arbitrate for a settlement so we can return to the bit where I call the shots!

Bedraggled Bee Selfie!

We have a guest selfie this week. Mr Bedraggled Bee-Bumble wanted very much to get his plight highlighted in the world's press regarding his reprehensible living and working conditions. It doesn't matter what the weather is like Mr B. Bee-Bumble has to be out there pollinating and providing the wherewithal for the whole nectar/honey industry thingie.  It's quite a responsibility. 

However, look at this poor fellow! He's soaked right through to his little stripy boxer shorts! He's never allowed a moment to dry out or have a lunch break or hang out with the lads! It's all tote that pollen, lift that sac ...... !

But all is not lost!!!

NUCAT (who do not discriminate on grounds of species - well, not much!) have stepped up to the plate and taken on Mr B.B.B.'s case ........... and ............

Nostalgia!

We thought we'd go all nostalgic today! This photo is from 5th May 2008 not long after Tigger (aka Sparky) and I first had smacky paws met over a mouseburger take-away and I brought him home to introduce him to the family! Pity I didn't realise how successfully he would ingratiate himself over nearly 7 1/2 years! MOL

Because it's like, you know, ancient history and everything, The Staff aka TAT made it look all retro and sepia in PicMonkey and added the drop shadow frame! I said "We're not THAT old!" and she said "Tough, I'm the one with the opposable thumbs and online account!" Sheesh, no need to be so snarky!
