The human thinks I'm weird ....

...... because I won't jump up on a bed that looks like this..

... or even this ...

... but only if it has my own blanket on it.
There is nothing like one's own stinks!

The Staff here: Yep he's totally weird. Austin will actually come and find me if the bed looks like 1 or 2 and ask me to make it look like 3 so he can take a nap! No, really! He will! He's very considerate like that ;)

  2. We like to call it "unique". No such thing as "weird". MOL!

Our Mommy just loves your blog. We could tell right away that it was a winning Glogirly design!

    Have a great Tuesday.

  3. If you don't tell anyone what you want you can't complain if you don't get it and we can tell you make it plain what you want. BTW excellent choice of blanket - we've got one on the couch in the conservatory!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  5. Really? I don't care what the bed looks like as long as I don't have to share it with anyone!

  6. Austin what can we say but you are one of a kind and very considerate too LOL. Have a terrific Tuesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  7. It does look comfy with your blanket on it Austin, but I just take the bed as it comes. Sometimes I make mum wait ages before she can make it.

  9. Sheets—are we talking white or colored here? HAH! I had a Twitter furrend who laughed for hours over that. All Brits seem to like that one. Back to your post. I won’t lay on Pop’s bed unless he has my blue blankie on it although this year I’ve changed and I’ll lay on the sheet. For years I wouldn’t. I won’t lay on TW’s fake down comforter either.

  10. We believe your Mama/Servant meant you are discerning Austin! Clearly you are a gentrified tux who enjoys his creature comforts! :)

  11. Austin, good job keeping that Mum in line. She needs to make the bed so you can have your naps. What is her problem?? Take care and have a nice evening.

  16. One simply must have the proper blankie or tuffet for one's nap. Plus, we are with Hannah and Lucy on this - you won't get what you want if you don't ask!
    Well done, Austin.

  17. Well that's just one of the cutest things we've heard, yep Austin is a cutie!

  18. We don't think you're weird at all, Austin. That blankie looks pretty comfy and we can see why you insist on napping on it.

  19. Well, the light tans look better with his dark furs you know. Austin is just very fashion aware.

  20. It does look softer with the other covers. We on the other hand will happily spread our furs on any soft surface no matter what it looks like. Darker colors are preferred.

  23. Austin, is this your own personal bed? Just curious. My kitties sleep anywhere I am and usually right on top of me! They make it very hard to change it too. Moving sheets and blankets are just too much fun! They're not nearly as refined as you Austin

  24. The human just doesn't understand, Austin, mancats don't sleep on flowers, they must have a manly backdrop for their naps.

  25. It's ok Austin I have my own special blankie too!

  26. You are simply a very discerning cat napper

  27. Austin, you are very considerate! We will "mole" through a made bed until it looks like it was never made and the pillows are on the floor. Our mom just gave up!

  28. My Auntie Primrose likes to crawl right under the covers and if she can't get under on her own, she yells at the peeps to help her.

  30. I'm wondering what the humans would say if you'd suddenly put another sofa in front of their television. I'm pretty sure their reaction would be the same :-)

  37. Because...Tuxie...

I don't think Ms. Jack ever leaves my bed unless it's to eat or um...use the ladycat box.

But I always know where to find her and loves to be loved.

  39. That is so funny, Rita does funny things like that to. Like, she will eat a very small bite of a breadstick if we offer it to her, but if the hubs offers her a WHOLE breadstick! she turns her head away. She only wants a small bite!

  45. My Human is exceptionally fortunate if I deign to jump on her bed at all, Buddy. Your Human should count her blessings.

  46. Don't worry Austin, the Puffs won't sleep on the bed unless mom puts one of their soft blankies on it either :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Perhaps Austin is a wee bit particular. What happens when you wash the blankie?

    ReplyDelete
  48. You'd think she would keep the bed the way you like it. You shouldn't need to ask!

  49. We are not sure which of you trained the other, but this is definitely a win/win for both cat and human. You cracked us up with petulant! XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
