We've got snow!
Austin was getting a bit stir crazy, so I let him out. But you can't see him here!
He was gone for quite a while and then just when I thought he had turned into a snow puss,
I heard a "meow meow" from down the steps!
No Austin, I will not come and help you up!
"Umph, puff, wheeze, coff"
"Out the way, woman! Cat coming through…"
"Ahh! That's better!"
Toasting nicely!

Oh wow , you have almost as much snow as we have :)
ReplyDeleteGood thing that your mom-person got out of your way , Austin so you could run in to the nice warm radiator :)
Hallo, Austin!
ReplyDeleteSnow is so pretty, isn't it? We had snow here last week. I did so love watching the pretty snowflakes fall. But it's best to enjoy it from inside the window, because it's very cold and wet. I don't mind getting wet - but I HATE being cold.
Trixie the Black Panther
Did you have fun in the snow? I went out just once (with my leash & harness and couldn't wait to get back in the house. Guess I'm a wuss for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh Brrrr brrrrrr. We hope you're all nice and warm and all toasty now.
ReplyDeleteOh Austin...you're so dramatic.
ReplyDeleteThat's just one of the many reasons I love you.
; )
That assistant of your is getting very good at playing with Photoshop pixie dust!!!
LOVE your word of the day too. Thanks for the laugh!

My kitties think they are allergic to snow -- they step out, stand there with one paw in the air and then hightail it back inside.
ReplyDeleteLove this post. We just had our first snow of the year on Thursday. Some of our kitties had never seen snow before. They are also fortunate to have radiators to warm them up afterwards. Purrs and Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWhat! She didn't come get you! Harumph, you need to ignore her for a while, teach her to come when you call!
ReplyDeleteHe knew right where to go to get warm:)
ReplyDeleteQue bien ,después del frío afuera y ese esfuerzo a calentarse en el radiador.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were young we used to love to go out and play if we had snow. Mum says we have turned into wuss pusses too. That horrible cold white stuff was outside our door yesterday too, so we carefully walked around the edge of the garden under the Leylandii hedge. When we came back in, we kept flicking our toesies until she towel dried them for us. We are glad you were able to toast nicely on the radiator. We laid out in front of the woodburner to recover.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE seeing you toasting niceley and your ample body passing thru the door made mommy just swoon right along with me.
ReplyDeleteMommy loved the definitions. I don't understand why she always laughs at those. Maybe I should attend school.
xoxox
Make sure you get them toesies nice and dry and nice and warm pal!
ReplyDeleteGet good and toasty Austin!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you were out in the snow for so long, Austin! That is a little bit crazy.

Austin, we give you a lot of credit going out in the snow. We would never venture out in it.
ReplyDeleteI love snow Austin...just love it. Your little paws must have been cold though...you need some boots!
ReplyDeleteDearest Austin
ReplyDeleteSnow = No Cat Outside (except for Kozmo who is weird)
After Stir Crazy comes Cabin Fever!

Nellie

Moses the Studio Cat
Don't forget to fine-tune that human training.... so next time she WILL come down the icy steps to carry you inside.
ReplyDeleteAustin, we think you would look stunning in two pairs of pink wellies!
ReplyDeleteWE cannot believe that woman left you out in the cold snow. What is wrong with her. Your poor paws. Are they all right. Hope you get all nice and warm. Take care.
ReplyDeleteDude, you have more snow there than we have (in Wisconsin)!!
ReplyDeleteoh Austin!!! You cracked my Mom up!! Teaches you to stay outside so long. Keep in and be warm and safe. paw hugs, Savannah...oh yeah, ummm Austin...I was wondering...ummmm...I have a friend who would like to go to Mollie and Alf's Valentine Ball but she hasn't been asked, do you have a date or could I like maybe 'hook' you up with my BFGF?? she is really pretty, popular...just thought I would ask...paw pats Savannah
ReplyDeleteHonestly, what is WRONG with your Human that she did not come down there and carry you up those snowy steps? Why, it looks like it was a regular Everest to climb all the way to the top!
ReplyDeleteAt least there was a warm spot at the end of it all. But I don't see any toonas? Sheesh. Good help is SO hard to find.
Toasting inside is much better option than slushing outside. Austin furry smart of you to be near the radiator.
ReplyDeleteThis time of the year Tommie sits by the door looking out. Then when we finally let him out, he sits looking in. Always on the wrong side of every door.
ReplyDeleteLove the word of the day... Snow puss Austin... You bring out the best in him. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHuggies and Cheese,
Haopee
Good thing you have a cat-size toaster!
ReplyDeleteThe story and captions made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteI think I've been snow-bored before.
Stay warm, we don't go out in the snow.
ReplyDeleteYou are so so braving having big adventure in the snow!!
ReplyDeleteHey Buddy, how you doin' after your snow trek? I think it's kinda crazy to go out there in that, but I guess a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do. Hope your servant had a hot toddy ready for you!
ReplyDeleteYour toasting pic on the radiator is hilarious :)
ReplyDeleteCan you move up a bit please Austin - we'd like to join you.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Sweet Austin you are a hoot...you gave us a laugh with your speedy trip inside and finding a place to warm yourself. Looks like you all have quite a bit of snow. We are finding lots of our bloggie friends have snow. You all keep nice and warm. Hugs and nose kisses
ReplyDeleteNothing like kittens in your lap purring loudly!!!
ReplyDeleteThis morning I woke up to a bunch of broken dishes. The kittens had had a ball braking them I am sure but not fun for me!!!!!!
Austin was glad to come in out of that cold!!! Not so fun out there with snow on the ground is it Austin!!
Austin, Sassy here. I wanted to say something to you in your native language so I went to an online translator. Now I know it will have some errors, because online translators are always inaccurate, but here it goes:
ReplyDeleteHelo golygus! Rwy'n edrych ymlaen at Dawns Dydd Valentine's!
No comfy settee with your name on????
ReplyDeleteAren't radiators THE BEST? I've been hanging out in front of mine and enjoying it SOOOO much but then the stoopy Human decided it had warmed up so she turned them off again. Outrageous! But today it started raining again and now *she's* cold so I think they'll get turned on again tonight. FINALLY.
ReplyDeleteMy cats stay in a warm place until the snow has gone, but I love it!
