Can anyone here speak Meow?

Hi everyone! It's me! Do you remember? I don't blame you if you don't! Here's the thing! It's been a trying few weeks with The Affiliate Typist getting a bit lackadaisical in taking down my blogging ruminations!  Anyway we did eventually have a chat about it! But there did seem to be a communication problem, though!

Please could you watch the following and tell me how we could both get on the same page?  Blimey! It's only been nine years since I moved in. It could be crucial to any future we might have in the blogosphere!  But you'd think we understand each other a bit better by now!

You might need to turn the sound up!

Well, there you go! Any advice will be thankfully received!

While we are here, we would also like to join in and introduce everyone to Teddy Kimmell. He was chosen by Angel Sammy to go and live with his Mom and Dad and keep them from being lonely. And it looks like he has settled in very well already. You can click on his picture below to pop over and say hi! There is also a blog hop hosted by Friends Forever and Madi and Mom, which you can join in here.

Finally I am submitting a selfie for the Sunday Selfie blog hop hosted by the Kitties Blue.

I seem to be getting a bit thin on top, but I'm not proud! Actually it's just the light! MOL 😹

  1. Sadly, I have no advice, Austin. The lady is hopeless when it comes to understanding me. It's great to see you! I enjoyed your video and you selfie!

  2. Our biped would have interpreted that as one or more of the following: I'm hungry and/or I want treats, I want cuddles and scritches or I'm bored; amuse me, lady.

So, alas, she's no help at all!

Though your meowing did make Nicki sit up and take notice!

  4. Oh My Gosh, that videeohhh!... dying! I have no advice because I don't believe in a post without a picture and I am not remotely interested in taking pictures any longer so when I run out of pictures that will truly be the end! I keep thinking that if Staff buys that swanky new camera she might be motivated... maybe.
Nice welcome for Teddy, Mr. Austin! Love your selfie with that one eyebrow whisker sticking straight up!!!

  5. Austin, it seems my AT has caught the same ailment as yours. So I can't help. Maybe Spring will help them out of their doldrums.
Welcome to Teddy! And nice selfie .

  6. HI Austin, I love your video, I was calling along with you, alas seems to no avail! May I suggest putting your peep up for sale and then buying a replacement? or if no funds forthcoming you could always threaten to move home? I do this all the time, and it usually works. Purrs, Erin PS my peep is hopelessly slow at typing, so I liberal apply my massaging claws to wake things up a bit.

  7. Prof Austin of course I remember you. Love the 10.00 word lackadaisical too!
Bravo to you on your video. Surely with such a big vocabulary you can find an able bodied assistant who works for free.
Thanks for joining the Welcome Teddy hop.

  9. Austin, we say this is a case of selective hearing. Your mum only hears what she wants. We do think it is time to call in NUCAT. We miss you here, and your friends miss you at Scouts as well. We are always happy to see you on the hop, and we know Teddy is happy to meet you as our comment is following his. Keep pestering your mum. Hopefully she'll come around. 17. This certainly seems like a case for NUCAT, Austin. It never ceases to amaze me when TATs fail to understand such a straightforward request.

  23. Austin, it's great to see you. We're sorry to hear your human doesn't have her priorities straight and isn't helping you blog enough. Humans are really dense...they definitely are not on the same level as us cats.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Humans are so stubborn about sticking to their own language and not learning others. It's something all us cats have to deal with.

  25. Catzowey! Doing that drumming on the Tall Deeeeevice can bring attention fur shure! Don't stop Dude - keep it up so your Staff hears ya 24/7 .. Here come my Man Cat Hugs cuz Man Cats gotta bond together fur shure.

  27. Guess What? Mr. Poo! We have da same Mew!
I don't do this ' Mew' pretty often. I only do when I'm not satisfy!
Sample : Mom made me waiting for a long long time ,or I want to go outside but she doesn't let me ,or I don't want to get inside yet but she carries me in. And my mom always replies me same as your staff ' Love you ' =^x^= But I'm not so sure It's the same as what you try to say to your staff.
    Hope it helps, buddy!

  30. go sit on the computer.. shed some furs into the keyboard

  31. I don't think bipeds are very good at languages. Also, their ears are almost as feeble as their noses! I find it best to get them to follow me and try to demonstrate what I want. I would suggest you take your staff to the keyboard and start tapping it yourself.

  32. Awww sweet Austin. You made it very clear to your mom, I understood everything and I loved your meow. So better you talk to us next time when you have something to say, I shall translate it immediately to your mom...only hope that she understands my meeew language😹Double Pawkiss for a wonderful day☺❤

  33. We miss seeing you friend. Your lovely blog, and your lovely posts were a breath of lightness for us.

    Come back wen you can.

We hope you had a good week, sorry we are late.

    Happy Sunday Selfie!

  34. What a sweet little meow you have. Not at all loud and boisterous like myself. You could try shouting as the Human seems a little hard of hearing.

  35. WOW Austin, You could put in for the Academy Awards this weekend. Your movies are every bit as good as the ones nominated. I mean moving into that mansion rivals any movie star's mansion, in fact it's even better than that Thumper guy here in the states! I didn't know you were a movie star. I do hope you come out with more movies soon.

  36. Austin my advice is that you refuse to allow any cuddling until your typist begins to post at least once a week and visits some of your pals once a week. You must take control of the typist or return her to wherever you adopted her.

  37. Austin we missed this post. We feel you! Our Mom seems to think W.O.R.K. and taking care of the Grandpeeps is more important than blogging! She needs to get her priorities straight!
