It was a joyous day when Da Bird arrived. We’d heard so much about it, so I sent off to Amazon and three days and £9.99 later, this cardboard tube arrived in the post.

OK, this gave me a good chuckle! I'm so sorry, Austin, about your eyebrow. I guess that's one of the downsides of having to deal with arrows that appear and then suddenly disappear!

Oh Austin...mommy had one of the best laughs I have seen her with today! All at your expense and that comment from Paula saying that about a cast! (plaster I guess there in Wales) Mommy really roared!
Well -- Da bird. So glad to hear Austin gave it, and the blue arrows, a run for their money, even if he ended up benched with an injury. Neither Bugs nor Fang is the least bit moved by Da bird -- so disappointing, after all the puff I'd heard about it. Now if you tie a bootlace to the wand, Fang becomes positively territorial fanatical about it. But the feathers? Pffft. So -- enjoy! Eyebrow cast comes off soon!
Leave the broken thing dangling there. It's great for sympathy and treats!!
Oh my goodness!! I did my post today on Da Bird. We got it over the weekend and my cats just love it. Glad to see Austin likes it too.

Oh, simply hilarious. By the way, you were correct. One of the reasons why Buchi love's his bath, is because of the heat and he has thick fur.
