Prof. Austin we saw on our news that York, England was having terrible flooding. We are so sorry and send purrs. Our city's water source is Falls Lake it is 7 feet above normal. So much rain here too but no flooding just wet wet wet! Mom even bought what I think you all call Wellies to keep her feets dry. They are knee high Hugs madi your bfff
Ditto here, Austin! And we awakened to a skiff of snow this morning. Before the snow we had 8 inches of rain and some of the rivers around us are at historic flood stages. We are high up on our own hill but we feel bad for the people in St. Louis and Union, Missouri and all the flooded, rain soaked people in your bit of country. Hugs... you do look a bit forlorn.
We are really sick of all the rain here too but sooooo glad it isn't snow or ice. That would be 100 times worse. Good day to just snuggle in a good blanket.
I agree Austin, it is terrible weather. We live high up but I am still squelching around in my garden up to my elbows in water. I lie on the bed sulking when my mum won't let me go out, but she tells me I should be grateful that I don't live up North.
Oh Austin you poor thing..wet and soggy there hot and dry here..let's meet half way and have PERFECT day ok..stay safe and warm and tell the Mum thankyou for the chrispymouse card ..she got a MOL over the warm fireplace scene MOL..loves Cleo xxxx
An excellent poem. We are totally sick of the rain around here. We had one crazy pants day when the sun was shining and it was 75 degrees. The rest of the time it has been dreary and depressing but no snow. If we don't get any this year, you won't find any of us crying. Oh AUSTIN! You poor mancat! At least with all the wind and rain here, I am content to stay in. No sunpuddles to lie in but still, not being rained on is a plus. xoxoxoxo

ReplyDeleteWe feel that way too, only first it was endless rain (or so it seemed) and now it's snow, ice and freezing rain! How many days until Spring?
ReplyDeleteWe have had a lot of cold and snow here. We hope the sun comes back to visit you (and us) soon!!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the rain. We have strong winds here in London at the moment and it's very mild for December!

Lots of horrid sky water here too, these past two days. Mr. Sun seems to have gone into hiding! No sun puddles - only the other kind of water...
